My Philosophy

As a designer and teacher, I am always exploring new media and increasing my knowledge of techniques and styles so that I can bring new interest and artistry to my designs. 

Nurturing the creative spirit in my students and those who work my designs, I hope to inspire others to expand their creative expression and find increased joy in trying new crafts and media.  I love to hear students say "I didn't know it was that easy".

What I Can Offer

Innovative and original designs with clear and concise instructions in a variety of areas including children's crafts, plastic canvas needlepoint, home decor, wirework and beading.

As a teacher and demonstrator, I have experience in elementary, junior high and high school teaching as well as teaching adult and children in classes in craft stores, church groups and in my home studio.  In addition, I have taught and demonstrated at consumer shows and trade shows.

Member of the Society of Craft Designers from 1989-2005

Atttained Certified Craft Designer status

Designer Member of CHA since 2005

Grand Prize Winner of the Toner Wire Contest for 2006 and 2007.
